Venice, Italy | August 2025

Hotel:

  • Palazzetto My Venice - Amazing Hotel included breakfast. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was on a top floor and looked out over the rooftops. https://www.myvenice.eu/

Restaurants:

    • lineadombra: beautiful outdoor dining with open water views looking south - was $$ but better at lunch after a visit to Salute or the Guggenheim!

    • Al Covo: We saw this restaurant on Somebody Feed Phil, it’s a family run restaurant with really creative chef-driven dishes made with Veneto ingredients. On the Michelin Guide!   https://guide.michelin.com/us/en/veneto/venezia/restaurant/al-covo

    • Ristorante Riviera: We ate here on our first night, it was a nice walk from our hotel. Most of the seating is right on the water, it was so beautiful at sunset. The crudo e burrata was incredible! https://ristoranterivieravenezia.it/

    • Birraria La Corte: We had pizza here on our first day after dropping our bags at the hotel. The pizza was amazing and the square was really cool to walk around in afterwards! https://www.birrarialacorte.it

Drinks & Fun:

    • Campo Santa Margherita: Venice isn’t a nightlife city. I think this Campo might be the closest exception. We found ourselves walking through here at least once a day and at night it was full of tables of groups getting drinks. Lots of fun!

    • Cafe Noir: Close by Campo Santa Margherita. Incredible espresso martini, kinda dark and small but a great spot! https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187870-d523162-Reviews-Cafe_Noir-Venice_Veneto.html

    • Hotel Danieli: We spent like $30 on a cocktail but it was perhaps the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been in and the service was wonderful. Pro Tip: You can explore the hotel, restrooms are on the top floor and each floor lobby is like a museum. https://www.fourseasons.com/venice/
